Meet Shay Dawn
Born and raised in Okc, Ok, Shay Dawn takes her love for Black books and her wild imagination to craft funny, spicy, and heartfelt stories. She can always be found writing, reading, or yapping about Black books, especially Black Romance. She has been creating stories since she and her bestie used to pass around a binder back in junior high, but officially stepped onto the scene as a published Black Author in October of 2025 with her debut novel, Love at a Funeral. Shay loves spreading joy through her work and feels like if she was able to make you laugh, she did her job.
